So for those who are interested, here's how to install Windows 10 Technical Preview Build 9860.
We talked about it only came out today and we'll be getting into a few of the attributes shortly but we figured that first, we must probably show you the install procedure.
Let me start by saying that it is pretty much a complete OS reinstall rather than at each of the clean compartmental upgrade that is crafty which I thought these matters would be.
The entire process took me about 45 minutes via VMware so I am assuming it should take you about the same.
Without further ado, here we go.
First, head
There it is possible to choose -> Upgrade and Restoration
Next, click Preview Constructs.
At this point, it will locate the latest assemble, download it (20 minutes) and then allow you to install it (below).
Next you click install,
Mercifully at some stage (10 to 15 minutes), it is time on your computer to restart.
Time to experience a number of restarts,
The ACTUAL INSTALL STARTS
This takes eternally
Even more installs
Yet more installs
A restart
Then a little more set up
And more setup
And then (thank God), we are done. and as you may observe in the underside right, we now have the new construct installed.
The new variant number is 9860 as you can see.
This is a full install when you start, step away and do something else because it has a while.
